The First Step: Am I qualified?
Potential students must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field from an accredited university
- GPA of 'B' or better for the last 60 credit hours of Bachelor's degree (3.0 on 4.0 scale)
The Second Step: Complete the MEng Program application
Since all bioinformatics students must be accepted by the Masters of Engineering (MEng) Program, your second step should be to complete the MEng application [application instructions].

Third Step: Submit the MEng application and all necessasry supporting information
The following items must be completed for your application to be considered:
- Completed Meng application form [application instructions].
- All previous transcripts [transcript request form]
- TOEFL for international students
- 1-page personal statement
- Letters of reference (optional)
- MEng Program
